Five ways Israeli law discriminates against Palestinians
More than 65 Israeli laws already exist that discriminate against Palestinians in Israel and the occupied territories.
While Israel passed a nation-state law that further marginalises Palestinian citizens, such legislation is nothing new.
There are currently more than 65 Israeli laws that discriminate against Palestinian citizens in Israeland Palestinian residents of the Occupied Palestinian Territories, according to Adalah, The Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel.
More than half of these laws were adopted since 2000. From 2009 to present, elections have brought to power the most right‐wing government coalitions in the history of Israel, led by Prime MinisterBenjamin Netanyahu, Adalah noted.
